About Us

Laura Whittard the schools’ founder began her career as a performer and after a successful West-End career in theatre realised a long-term ambition and opened her first weekend theatre arts school Cheltenham before going onto open a school in Gloucester and our latest additions the after-school Performing Arts Clubs.

Miss Whittard’s passion for theatre, commitment to her pupils, innovative teacher training methods (The Factory Method) and syllabus in “Core Confidence” have led to a successfull environment for all who visit, teach and learn at a Hampstead Factory School.

Miss Whittard continues to write and perform in regional theatre when time permits and looks forward to opening a small scale theatre company in the future that regional actors and Hampstead Factory students can benefit from.
