About Our Teachers

Hampstead Factory Managers and teachers receive advice every term in The Hampstead Factory teaching methods and their classes are consistently monitored.

We receive written feedback from youngsters at the end of every autumn term, helping us to improve our teaching methods and fit the classes around the requirements of each individual group.

Chloe Balster

I started my dance training at the age of 4 years old at The Janet Marshalls School of Dance based in Cheltenham. I competed in a variety of competitions in the surrounding areas and also performing at the prestigious London Ballet Awards. By the time I was 15 years old, I decided I wanted to further my training and started to audition for Dance Colleges, and I was lucky enough to get a place at Laine Theatre Arts School Epsom. After 3 years of intense training and gaining my Professional Diploma in Dance I moved onto London to perform and carry on some free lance work. I then decided to move back to my roots to further my teacher training. I have huge passion for the Arts, and I have always loved passing on my knowledge to other youngsters.

Paula Pitt
I have been dancing from the age of three at The Sally Prout school of dance and have worked my way through the syllabi of ISTD tap and RAD ballet and have taken exams in ISTD ballet and modern at an advanced standard. I also successfully auditioned for the Swindon Youth Dance Academy, a centre of excellence for the south west of England. I have trained at The Centre Performing Arts College in London and The Judith Hockaday School of Dance and Drama in Swindon, working towards my ISTD teaching qualifications DDI (diploma in dance instruction) and DDE (diploma in dance education) in Modern, tap and ballet. I have been involved in many stage productions, dancing, singing and acting as main roles along with working backstage, directing and choreographing on some, gaining a deeper knowledge of how the shows run.
