Weekend Performing Arts for Youngsters

Confidence building classes

If you could give your child one gift what would it be?  More confidence? A chance to perform? Better communication skills? A happier social life? Life skills to benefit them way into the future? At Hampstead Factory we are committed to giving all these to our youngsters and so much more .......

If your child is between four and seventeen years old and they enjoy weekend pursuits, here's one pursuit they won't forget in a hurry;  At The Hampstead Factory we teach life skills through drama, dance and singing.

At The Hampstead Factory we pride ourselves in giving bespoke lessons tailor making each class to each individual within the group.

We help to develop confidence, articulation and communication in a well-balanced child, through freedom of expression in a caring and imaginative environment.  We use winning techniques developed by the founder and even have a free online children's agency that all Hampstead Factory group students are welcome to join.

Whether its a sociable hobby or a move towards a career in the performing arts The Hampstead Factory is the only place to be. With our innovative approach to the development of the whole child (having fun is a key factor to learning), our hand-picked teachers help to bring out the absolute best in the children they inspire.

Call us to book a "trial class" on 01242 234664 (up to two trials welcome).

Can I come along and try a class?

Yes! To all newcomers please feel free to come along for up to three trial lessons within The Hampstead Factory term. There is no obligation to join with just the price of 2 trial lessons payable (refunded if not taken). Trainers and leggings/jogging bottoms are recommended to wear for trials. Please bring a drink for four to sevens and a drink and snack for eight year olds and over. On average only fifteen pupils are accepted per class so if you have not contacted us via email or call, please do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. A youngster may then wish to join by filling in our child application form. "How" will my child learn at The Hampstead Factory?

The way in which youngsters learn is very important at The Hampstead Factory. The Hampstead Factory teachers encourage students to learn and grow in a caring and warm environment. Problem solving, constructive criticism and equal opportunities for all youngsters are given in our teacher guidlines for instance: shouting, favouritism and destructive criticism are definitive no no's! Special attention is given to the dynamics of each group, with regular meetings about youngsters and their ability to work well together.

Pupils (eight to seventeen year olds) give written feedback about Hampstead Factory lessons at the end of every autumn term. The anonymous questionnaires give us the opportunity to learn from the pupils and to take a more individual approach to teaching each group.
